‘Hatha and Dream Yoga’ Retreat Weekend

Friday 10th November to Sunday 12th November

Immerse yourself in a weekend retreat of Yasodhara workshops and Satsang, situated within the picturesque and quiet nature setting of rural Norfolk. Accommodation is on-site with a choice of three well furnished and comfortable twin-bedrooms in the main house or ‘The Retreat’ containing 1 double bedroom. Meals are fully catered for and optional, as well as being home-made, fresh and vegetarian. Guests occupying ‘The Retreat’ also have the option to self-cater.

                 

Arrival is on Friday. Get settled and prepare for a comprehensive day of ‘Yasodhara Yoga’ on Saturday. This includes a morning ‘Yoga and Relaxation’ workshop, an afternoon ‘Dream Yoga’ workshop followed by late afternoon Satsang. Leave at your own pace on Sunday. It’s possible to extend your stay or arrive earlier.

Saturday’s Schedule

‘Yoga and Relaxation’ Workshop

 10am – 1pm

Relaxation is a skill that can be cultivated. This workshop teaches you techniques to relax both the mind and the body through Yasodhara Hatha Yoga, breathing practices, relaxation techniques and meditation.

This is an opportunity to slow down and reconnect to a place of inner peace and calm.

Yasodhara Yoga integrates classical asanas with spiritual practices of mantra and meditation. These workshops empower students to accept and listen to their bodies. Non-competitive and compassionate, open to all levels.

This is the perfect way to enter in to the dream workshop, calming the mind, and allowing the intuitive and subconscious mind to begin to open.

Vegetarian, gluten-free lunch (organic where possible)

1pm – 2.15pm

Enjoy a delicious and healthy vegetarian lunch, home cooked by Jane.

Enjoy the company of other like-minded individuals in a relaxed and informal setting, held in Jane’s homely, spacious dining room/kitchen or weather permitting, outside on the decking overlooking the garden.

‘Dream Yoga’ Workshop

2.30pm – 4.30pm

The dreaming mind speaks to us in symbols.

In this workshop we will explore our dreams and help to learn the language of the subconscious dreaming mind to see what messages it is trying to tell us.

Our dreaming mind can become our best friend and teacher once we begin to understand its language.

Bring notebook and pen.

N.B. This is not a physical yoga class.

Satsang

5pm – 5.45pm

A joyful time of Mantra, Meditation, Aarti and Bhajans. Satsang is offered in the Saraswati lineage tradition, and includes aarti, a celebration of light, chanting, and either a talk or a reading on an aspect of spiritual life.
